Jurassic Joe's DANGER DINOSAUR SHOW
Jurassic Joe and the Cretaceous Crew have presented their shows to audiences at schools, preschools, childcare centres, shopping centres, children's festivals, and libraries in New South Wales and Queensland to a growing audience of young fans.
The Jurassic Joe Show is a 45 minute program which is aimed at a 2 to 8-year-old audience
and involves the performance of songs by Jurassic Joe and the Cretaceous Crew.
This is an interactive show with children singing, dancing, miming, focused listening,
and learning while having a lot of fun as well.
In relation to dinosaurs, children learn about diet, size, biggest, longest, defense
mechanisms, body shape, possible sounds, distinguishing characteristics of specific
dinosaurs, interdependence, extinction, timelines, pronunciation, and name derivation.
Children have experience in movement to a beat, movement to a rhythm, structured dance,
"echo" singing, counting forwards and backwards, addition, simple categorization, song
structure, and simple comparison terminology.
But most of all, they enjoy themselves.
